First Timer
Hello all. Currently not a DVC member but looking at joining within the year. 90% sure going with purchasing resell as i wouldn't use the direct sale benefits much. The two main resorts i would most likely stay at would be Vero and Aulani. I would do Vero prob twice a year and Aulani maybe every other year. My question is should i make Vero or Aulani my home base. I heard that Vero annual fees can be quite steep. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thank you all for letting me join.

First off where do you live? Reason I ask is what resort would be more accessible to you? (Boat, Plane, or by Car) would you only be using your membership at the non -WDW or DL properties?

Sorry for the late response. I live in Minneapolis, MN. I would be flying. Most of the time i would be staying at a non WDW property. We are more of a univrsal family so tend to stay at the hardrock. I heard yearly dues at Vero can be a bit pricey. Any idea how hard it is to book at 7 months out at Vero? Travel time is usually May-Aug.
