1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DVCFan Forums (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Unofficial Fan Community

DVCFan Forums is an unofficial fan community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to The Walt Disney Company, Disney Vacation Club, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All Disney-related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

3. Account Registration & Approval

To participate in discussions, you must register an account and complete our approval process:

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it.
• All new accounts are subject to review and approval by our moderation team.
• Unapproved accounts may browse public content but cannot create threads or reply.
• We reserve the right to deny or revoke account approval at our sole discretion.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Spam, solicit, or post unsolicited commercial content.
• Attempt to circumvent moderation actions, bans, or access restrictions.
• Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.

5. Moderation & Enforcement

Our moderation team may take action on any account or content that violates these terms or our community guidelines. Actions may include, but are not limited to: content removal, temporary timeouts, permanent bans, and requiring post approval. Moderation decisions are made at the discretion of the moderation team and are generally final.

Content may also be automatically hidden pending moderator review when it receives multiple reports from the community. Auto-hidden content is not visible to other members until a moderator reviews it, at which point it may be restored, removed, or otherwise actioned. Auto-hiding is a safety mechanism and does not constitute a final moderation decision.

6. User-Generated Content

By posting content on DVCFan Forums, you:

• Retain ownership of your original content.
• Grant DVCFan Forums a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and reproduce your content in connection with operating the Service.
• Represent that you have the right to post the content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content at any time and for any reason. When content is removed — whether by you, a moderator, or an administrator — it is soft-deleted rather than permanently erased. Soft-deleted content is no longer visible to users but is retained in our systems for moderation review, abuse prevention, and compliance purposes. Permanent deletion of content may be requested by contacting us directly.

7. Patreon Supporter Features

Certain features of the Service are available exclusively to active Patreon supporters, including but not limited to: the Supporter Lounge, ROFR data reports, the Travel Journal, and private discussion forums. Access to these features is contingent on maintaining an active Patreon subscription. If your subscription lapses, access may be revoked after a grace period. Supporter features are provided as-is and may change at any time.

8. ROFR & Resale Prices Data

The Live ROFR (Right of First Refusal) Report and the Live Average Resale Prices report — along with all supporting data — are proprietary to DVCFan Forums and are made available exclusively for personal, non-commercial use by authorized members. Any reproduction, distribution, scraping, or commercial use of this data without the prior written consent of DVCFan Forums is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in the revocation of access to these reports, the Supporter Lounge, or your DVCFan Forums account entirely.

9. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Patreon and OneKey for authentication and membership verification, and Algolia for search functionality. Thread titles, content, and author display names are indexed by Algolia to power search results across the platform. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. DVCFan Forums is not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

10. Automated Content

Some content on DVCFan Forums is generated or posted by automated systems that we operate. For example, the weekly ROFR Monster report is an automated thread posted by a designated bot account summarizing aggregated ROFR data from the prior week. Automated content is attributable to the bot account that publishes it and is subject to the same moderation standards and community guidelines as user-generated content. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue automated content at our discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. DVCFan Forums shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, including ROFR data, resale prices data, and user-generated posts.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
