Derek's Dining Plan Hot Take

My wife and I always discuss the pros and cons of the Disney Dining Plan. During our most recent conversation, I remarked on how Derek so elequoently conveys the actual essence of where they went wrong with the plan, and the effect on food quality and overall experience. He has touched on this in severals shows and I am beckoning him to share his overall opinion here, with the passion he has in the show, for reference. Would love a really detailed thesis to come back to when this topic comes up again.
