The world is a small place, it always amazes me I can travel a good distance away and meet someone from my town.
One year, I was riding up a ski lift in Alta, Utah. I started the usual small talk as you ride up the mountain. "Hi there, where are you from?" . They respond "Suntree, Florida". That literally was 3 miles from my home in Melbourne, Florida.
"Wow, I live just down the road from you". So I then ask "what do you do for a living?". He responds "Well, currently I'm running for Governor of the state of Florida". OH MY!
I rode up with Bill Nelson, who didn't become Governor, but did become a Senator. Small World, eh?
What are the odds, I'd meet him on a ski lift across the country? I love these moments.

We took 3 trips when my son was young, in 2007, 2008 and 2010. On the first trip, we were walking through Magic Kingdom and he told me one of his classmates was going to be in WDW the same week and maybe we'll see him. I told my son Disney World is so big, the chances we'd run into each other are slim. Not 5 minutes later, the kid walked by us with his family! The next trip, we ran into one of my son's teachers, and the third trip, my Mom ran into a classmate from high school that she hadn't seen since 1965!!! It really is a Small World.
