Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure will no longer offer Express Pass

One of the most popular rides at Islands of Adventure will stop being offered with Express Pass on July 1st, 2026.

According to Universal's social media:

We are implementing an operational update to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Effective July 1, 2026, the attraction will no longer be included in the Universal Express program, allowing us to improve the flow of the experience for all of our Guests.

The cynic in me thinks in a few months they will re-introduce Hagrids as an "Express Now" offering, which works like Disney's Lightning Lane Single Pass and they'll charge for one time access to the Express Lane for Hagrids.

I feel bad for anyone who had a trip planned in July or later that paid for Express or booked at a Signature hotel that includes Express and expected to be able to ride Hagrid's with their Express Pass.

On the positive side, the standby line should move faster without Express.
