A Waitlist Success Story
There is nothing sweeter than a Disney Vacation Club email titled - “Reservation Cancellation Notification.” When you have a waitlist set up, that means it hit!
As an owner at Saratoga Springs and the Polynesian, I can’t book our preferred summer stay at Boulder Ridge until the 7-month window. When booking I split up our our 5-night trip into a 3-night reservation and a 2-night reservation so I could place waitlists for some harder-to-get rooms.
If I don’t actually need the waitlist to complete the trip, I like to throw in a few “why not?” options just for fun. Well… one of them actually came through!
Our 2-night waitlist hit for an Animal Kingdom Lodge Club Level Studio, Sunday through Tuesday.
I genuinely never thought I’d be able to book a Club Level room with points. They always seem to be gone instantly (or somehow even before that!).
