What's Your Use Year?

We are September because we typically travel in the fall, winter and early spring. We avoid WDW like the plague once the temps hit 90 + . Though, my son is engaged to a soon to be teacher, so that might change in the future 😂. Still, I see most of our trips continuing our current pattern and September works perfectly

Annual Passes or No?

We live in PA but are retired so we take 3 - 4 trips a year to WDW. The Sorcerer's pass has been great for us. We would never come during the blackout periods anyway so not having to buy the Incredipass or individual tickets saves us a lot of money. I know my son can't wait until he and his fiance are married so she qu

Favorite modes of transportation within WDW?

I went back and forth between boats and walking, but at the end of the day being within walking distance of a park just can't be beat for me. However, I do love a boat ride!! So relaxing - unless you're stuck standing at the end of a long day. After that, I'd say skyliner followed closely by bus. Dead last is the monor

Already for 2042

The one that intrigues me the most is BRV. When they converted some of the cash side of Wilderness Lodge into CCV they pretty much matched the point chart from BRV even though it was quite a bit lower than other resorts they'd recently sold. It's one of the reasons we own so many points there - nice long contract but w

Favorite Restaurant and Why?

My answer has more to do with where we'd likely be staying if we are only there for one night. Chances are we are at Copper Creek, so it's got to be Geyser Point (after drinks and an app at Territory Lounge). Though if we take this to meaning one day in the parks it's going to be Nomad Lounge - no contest.

Favorite bar or lounge at Disney World

We are lounge rats - definitely. We love hitting up a lounge for dinner vs making an ADR somewhere. Some of our favorites: Nomad - does it get any more luxuriating (yes, I'm channelling my inner Molly from Mammoth Club here 😎) than sitting out on the patio having a great cocktail and yummy food from the Tiffin kitchen

Copper Creek Villas Owner Thread

We purchased CCV direct back in 2019 and have since added on there through resale. It's our favorite WDW resort. You can't beat it at Christmas and we love all the dining options and the fact that you can get a great meal without making reservations. Our favorite way to end our WDW day is to stop at Territory Lounge fo

FAVORITE Holiday at WDW

The past fall we were there over the Halloween to Christmas transition for the first time which is really fun. We were at the Oct 30 Halloween party and as we left they funneled us through a backstage area. Walking through you could see all of the Christmas decorations and cherry pickers staged and ready which for some

Favorite WDW DVC Resorts Ranked

CCV - it was our first home resort and our home away from home. Love the dining and lounges and it's impossible to beat at Christmas BWV - our other WDW home resort - love the Crescent Lake location and all of the dining options in neighboring hotels - falls to second due to the lack of a real QS (and for the love of G
