I've been considering this same thing. Own direct points but would like more, and thinking of doing resale to save $$$. Hate the restrictions but glad i have direct points i could use elsewhere then just save the resale for RR.
For summer, options should be fairly open but should be able to get into OKW, SSR, AKL,maybe even Poly.
I love getting up early for a run around Caribbean/riviera lake before skyliner even gets going. By the time i am finishing up, people are out and its fun seeing the tired Dads walking with a handful of refillable mugs, the skyliner testing has begun and you start to get excited about the day ahead. Also love running b
Cant wait to go to another HHN. Its been 2 years and wont be able to go this year either. We got spoiled doing an RIP tour, cant imagine not doing it that way again.
Just had some friends who are interested in DVC ask about where to purchase and how many resorts is best to buy into. I think the best combo is having one EPCOT and one MK area resort. Having RR and VGF (also BLT) for us is great. Only thing I might want different is switching out our BLT points for Poly but that is fo
Just listened to the DCL DUO podcast where they did a lot of guessing on the themes of a lot of these areas, very interesting ideas for some. Having an Encanto Show seems to be the one thing most agree is the most likely and the most wished for.
We are starting at the 7 month window since we are not owners here.
I'm thinking it will split time between port canaveral and fort Lauderdale depending; doing some of the Wish 4 vs 3 night Bahamas in port canaveral and then hopefully doing some more unique southern Caribbean cruises out of fort Lauderdale
I think Riviera's location is perfect. Right on the skyliner between other resorts to check out of you run out of things to do at Riviera. Of course Caribbean beach is right there but you are one stop from the boardwalk area and a few stops from AoA and Pop. The pool at Riviera is smaller but has a great slide and big
Ranking only the resorts we have stayed at! Riv - Each stay makes me enjoy this property even more. I wish we had more points here. So peaceful, great CM's, great dining (banana bread) and the Skyliner! VGF - Tough choice between Riv and VGF but Riv wins because of how crowded VGF gets. I love the OG VGF building. We b
Staying at DLH for the first time in November. I was shocked to see the larger rooms get booked up before the studios. We have two studio rooms booked but hoping a 1 or 2 bedroom opens up. Either way, excited to head to Disneyland for the first time!
BLT was our first DVC resort. We purchased resale in 2013. Less then a month later, VGF went on sale and we got in there as well. We actually closed at VGF before BLT closed, so not sure what to say was our first resort, I'm going with BLT. We love the rooms, even the smaller studios are great. I do wish they'd make a
So member services is able to have a single reservation replace two existing reservations. Easily accomplished via online chat this morning, so now 🤞
Yeah, just started doing that and have thought about what to do if I see it become available. Cancel both studios and hope it is still available, maybe start the reservation process and call member services.
Thanks, may have to give that a try. Don't have much hope of getting a 1 bed at DLH or VGC but worth trying
FW owners here. Own here, BLT, and VGF but prefer RR to all others. Just so relaxing, great running path, skyline access, and food options. Always great cast members too!
Love wailulu, great view, food, and banana old fashioned. That may me my top choice as well but a close second is the bar at the Boathouse.
