I guess I would simply say that buying direct will always be an option, and either way, LL is not finished yet. We bought resale first, then bought direct later. It allowed us to start staying at DVC sooner, rather than later. We got what I was willing to accept as a reasonable deal on direct just over a year later (VG

I hear ya. There are a few posted “hacks” to get a better score on the upgrade. We visited a few weeks too early to ride it, though.
Own here but haven’t stayed yet. My wife loves the look-and-feel, but we just haven’t decided to use that many points for a stay.
