With the current incentives, is it better to add-on points from say poly to your existing balance or do I wait to buy direct at Lakeshore? My worry is with lakeshore it will be a restricted resort and ill only be able to buy maybe 150 direct. That probably wont get me into a room big enough for a family of 6. However if i add on 150 in poly that would give me a total of 550 direct at poly which i may be able to use at 7 months for a lakeshore stay in a room big enough for all 6 of us.
The incentives are ok now with the membership magic week just not sure if its worth doing now of waiting to see if the offers get better. Any rhoughts?
There is no telling for sure what the price of LSL will be, but it has been said that it will have the resale restrictions in place if you were to sell the contract or buy a resale LSL contract. With your direct Poly points you will be able to book the LSL at the 7 month window. With as many DVC rooms LSL will have, I would think you would be able to book at the 7 month window without an issue.
For the Poly, I believe the last round of promo's for 150 points was only $1350, currently its at $2250. The Welcome Home Week adds "up to" $750 in additional savings. If you can combine that with the discounts for Magical Beginnings, being a Passholder, and being a D23 member it could get you down around $200/pt. I just haven't seen any confirmation of what promo's they are for sure running beyond the current promo pricing.

Where do you find the additional info on how much the discounts for being an AP? And i saw something about if you have disney+ you are eligible for d23 membership? Would that then also be a discount? And im sure the disney guide isnt going to tell you these additional discounts are available so youd have to ask?
There is no passholder discount this round. Unless you are military the D23 discount is all the extra you will get (MB is still an option but that's really a rebate not a discount).
The welcome home discount is already baked into the incentives you see listed on the main website.
