We just got back two ROFR contracts for BLT in 6 and 7 business days (both came back today, but were sent 1 day apart.

escaped the monster! sent down 5-1, just got the email saying it passed today 5-13.

Question for the ROFR monster. Hypothetically lets say that I just requested a quote from direct DVC for the Grand Floridian along with other resorts. And hypthetically, the guide said they do not have any GF inventory. Would that make you more hungry for that resort?

Oh wow. I was not aware of any resorts with zero inventory. ROFR monster must have a belly ache.

Both Grand Floridian and Grand Californian have very limited inventory.

My contract for the Boardwalk was sent to Disney for ROFR on May 1st and came back on May 13th

My sale has just closer and Disney has been notified of the change in ownership either yesterday or today.

Does anyone know how long it takes from here currently for someone buying in for the first time?

My Escrow agent says Disney typically takes 4-6 weeks to complete the transfer. Disney will send me two emails to activate & create your account. The vacation points can take up to an additional two weeks to be loaded in your account.

Is that accurate at the current time?

No. I closed on a resale contract just a few weeks ago and it took 7 days from the date the deed was recorded and Disney was told about the transfer. I've seen many reports of similar timelines from others. I think most title companies just keep saying 4-6 weeks because it used to take that long and, you never know when Disney could start taking longer.

That’s encouraging!! Might be faster for you though as your an existing member. I’m brand new.
