DCL Newbie Looking to Cruise on the cheap
Hi Everyone,
I just read that you can use a WDW bounce back offer to save 25% on a Disney cruise. My wife, my daughter, and I have never done one before. First, can anyone confirm that this is indeed the case? Second, how cheap do you think I can realistically expect to pay for a DCL experience? Since we are new to cruising, we've never done it on any ship, we were thinking about a shorter cruise. What do you all think? Thanks so much!
Hi,
Yes they are currently offering a discount. However, your stay has to be in a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa, and you have to make reservation within 7 days. I believe the sailings offered are leaving from either Florida, Texas, and California.

Have you been on one? Do you think it’s as good as going to the parks?
Also worth noting that the 25% and 20% are only on select dates, the latest seems to be February 2027. It's the 10% for all other dates. Given the offer is on cruises that happen in the following 24months I'm hoping that more dates get added to the list of 20% and 25% discounted cruises.

The cheapest possible DCL sailings I'm seeing are 3 and 4 night cruises out of San Diego, Ft. Lauderdale, or Galveston. With the bounce back offer, these would be around $1600 to $1800 for a family of three.
If you want a newer ship or to visit Castaway Cay, the cheapest rooms are around $2500, $2100 with the discount.
We just saved 25% by rebooking our cruise after our SSR stay on DVC points. Here's the official page with all the select cruise dates: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/special-offers/wdw-guest-offer/
We didn't receive an email regarding the offer. But I contacted our travel agent and they were able to get us the deal.
