Refillable popcorn buckets

We have refillable popcorn buckets from the parks and have previously used them on cruises in the past, what's the general consensus on taking these on cruises these days? I hear it's frowned upon or it's an unspoken rule that the CM don't generally enforce. I thought this was generally acceptable; but will leave our parks buckets at home if need be on our upcoming sailing, just don't want to be "that" family lol
