Disney Dining Plan 2027 Adds NEW Deluxe Option
Disney just made a major update to the Disney Dining Plan for 2027, and it’s the biggest change since the program returned in 2024.
Starting with check-ins on January 1, 2027, guests will now have three Disney Dining Plan options instead of two:
Quick-Service Dining Plan
Table-Service Dining Plan
NEW Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan
What’s Included in the NEW Deluxe Plan
The Deluxe plan is clearly built for more dining-focused trips. Per night of stay, it includes:
2 table-service meals
1 quick-service meal
1 snack
Resort refillable mug
It also expands access to more premium experiences:
Character dining
Signature restaurants
Dinner shows
Dining events
Some higher-end meals will require 2 table-service credits, similar to the current system.
2026 vs 2027 Key Differences
Important if you’re planning a trip soon:
2026 stays: Only 2 plans available (Quick-Service and Table-Service)
2027 stays: All 3 plans available, including the new Deluxe option
Other notable changes:
The free kids dining promo is not continuing into 2027
Guests cannot yet request the dining plan for 2027 DVC Rental Store reservations

Initial Thoughts
This feels like Disney targeting guests who want a more premium, dining-heavy experience, especially those planning shorter stays or prioritizing signature restaurants.
For some people, this could be a great fit. For others, it may be more food and structure than they actually want on a park-focused trip.

Curious what everyone thinks. Does the Deluxe Dining Plan make sense for your trips, or would you stick with the existing options?
Very interesting. Supposedly the prices break down as follows(Adult/Child):
Quick Service: $63/$26
Table Service: $100/$32
Deluxe Service: $163/$47
I would love to see the survey info/stats Disney has that prompted this new offering.

.
Estimated pricing per person, per night:
Quick-Service Dining Plan: $62.78 per adult | $25.82 per child
Table-Service Dining Plan: $99.87 per adult | $31.94 per child
Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan: $163.01 per adult | $46.85 per child
I could not imagine scarfing two table service and a quick service meal in a day, especially in the heat. Nice option for those who would though!

I couldn't do 3 meals/day but the deluxe dining plan allows you to eat signature every night if you want plus a QS. I could see it. We like the dining plan when we travel with other people because it's less awkward to split the bill.
Does Bar Riva take the dining plan? I'm assuming it's a TS?
We are about to enjoy both existing dining plans for the first time over a split stay. We have looked at many menus and options at resorts and parks. My child is 9 and will be free this year. We have reservations for lots of character dining and a dinner at Boma. This trip is our best case to try it. If we like it, we hope to try it again in December. I doubt we will use it again after this year.
We will end up with two extra souvenir mugs that I hope to gift out during the stay...
Using two table service credits for one meal is not a cost effective way to dine. I think it makes more sense to pay out of pocket for anywhere that requires two credits.
Two table service meals, a quick service, and a snack per day is a lot of food. It would take a lot of meal maximizing and consumption to make it cost effective. If I wanted another meal, I would prefer to buy one meal out of pocket, such as a quick service breakfast without a fancy drink.
Last I checked, Bar Riva counts as QS! Their menu has shrunk, but it would be a great use of a QS credit.
Home Resorts:

Excited to see the Deluxe offering. With the kids eat free in 2026, we’ve done 2 trips on the dining plan. I can’t wait to do some number crunching to see if it’s worth it for my family next year.
I’m giving the Table-Service plan a try in July, exclusively because of the kids eat free promotion. Looking forward to trying it out, and assessing what, if any other plan we’d try again in the future.
I’ve seen and understand the comments about 2 credits for 1 meal not being cost effective, but we are attempting Cinderella’s Royal Table on this trip, and would likely do that (just seems like so much extra money on top of the money we’re already spending to eat). Are we crazy?

From my research, the average price for an adult table service lunch or dinner is about $65 per person before drinks.
Because of this, I find it not worth it, math wise, to eat at a lot of signature dining on the dining plan. Essentially instead of the credit being worth $65, at Cinderella’s it’s worth $44.50 per credit used. That means I’m losing $41 in value when eating there. I hope that makes sense.
Now, if you have an extra credit you won’t be using, maybe because of a late arrival on check in day, it may be worth it for your vacation.

This does make sense, thank you!
Sounds like a good topic of conversation with my wife tonight.
