Plant-Based Dining at Disneyland, California Adventure, and Resorts
Hey, all. For those of you who ever order plant-based at Disneyland, this is a thread for us to discuss favorites, not-so-favorites, report item swaps, etc.
Very curious to hear from others about their favorites and menu items they'd recommend trying.
I've found this area to be tougher than Disney World, partly because there just aren't as many venues to choose from compared to WDW. And I'm sure I'm forgetting some things we got before, or places that were fine (like the cheeseburger at Smokejumpers, which I remember being a decent meal), but just don't stand out enough to make the stand-out list. I haven't been since 2023, but we're heading back in June, and these are some of the items that stood out for me. Maybe they weren't amazing, but when options are few, anything good stands out.
Stand-Outs
Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap: Ronto Roasters
Ronto-less Garden Wrap: Ronto Roasters
Impossible Quantum Garden Breakfast, Neutron Nachos (with plant-based meat): Pym Test Kitchen
Want To Try
Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito at Galactic Grill
Impossible Breakfast Bowl, Veggie Wrap, Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito: Galactic Grill
Créme Brûlée Tart at Blue Bayou
Burgers, fries, and brussels caesar at Lamplight Lounge
Will Avoid in the Future
Vegan cheese pizza: Alien Pizza Planet, Tomorrowland (Same issue as Pinocchio Village Haus at Magic Kingdom--cheese like melted plastic)
What do you think? Do you agree or disagree? What are your favorites or must-avoids? I left off a few different items or restaurants where I know we can get a decent meal, but I'd really like to narrow down to the must-tries before my ADRs open up in a couple weeks or so! So far I'm planning Blue Bayou for dinner at DL, Lamplight Lounge for dinner at DCA, and Napa Rose for our last night at VGC. And I'm planning lunch at Great Maple (Pixar Place Hotel) and breakfasts at Goofy's Kitchen and Storytellers Café.
