Legoland Florida
We are venturing outside the Disney bubble and heading to Legoland Florida for the first time! Does anyone have any must-dos, especially for little ones?
Happy to call the BoardWalk, Bay Lake Tower, and Grand Floridian home!
While there weren't any responses here, in case it's helpful to anyone else, I wanted to share a few takeaways from our first Legoland visit:
Legoland truly does have plenty of attractions for little ones (even without going to the Peppa Pig Theme Park). My son was most interested in Jr. Driving School, the Grand Carousel, the Tractor Ride, Coast Guard Academy, and the Safari Trek. There are even a few attractions that have height maximums.
For a Saturday, the crowds seemed pretty low--at least compared to Disney. Most wait times were 5-10 minutes, and even then the lines were super short. The biggest part of the wait time was due to there being only one or two Model Citizens (Legoland's term for its staff) for many of the smaller attractions, so loading and unloading isn't as efficient as at Disney World.
There were lots of shaded paths, and we found plenty of indoor spots to either play with Legos or let out some wiggles when it got hot out. The Schoolhouse in Duplo Valley with its indoor playground may have been the highlight for my son. We went back a couple of times throughout the day to enjoy the slides and Duplo block stations. It's conveniently in the same building as the baby care center, and there are a few benches for parents to sit while their kids play.
Another nice place for some AC was SEA LIFE, which is the aquarium. It's smaller than the Living Seas but still fun to check out.
There are plenty of kid-friendly food options with things like burgers, chicken strips, pizza, etc. We opted to bring some sandwiches since you are allowed to bring food into the park but did stop at The Burger Kitchen for chicken strips and fries, which were more than decent. Just know that indoor seating is fairly limited.
There are water bottle refill stations near most of the restrooms, so it helps to bring a bottle with you to stay hydrated.
We took our time and let our 3-year-old son really take the lead on where we went, but I can see how it doesn't take more than a day or two to cover everything.

Thanks for sharing! Its something for us to consider in the future :)

You're welcome! If you go, it's worth checking for discounted tickets rather than buying directly through Legoland. I got mine from Tickets At Work through my employer and got it for about $80 instead of $94, and it worked nicely. They just scanned my emailed QR code at the turnstiles, and I was good to go.
