4 days till our pre-cruise stay! Actually excited to stay at SSR for the first time.
A lot of third-party services are not permitted to do business on property anymore, so you may need to go directly through Disney's Magical Floral & Gifts.
I enjoy both the longhouses and the Tower, but if you like a quieter atmosphere, you'll enjoy the Tower. The beach in front is less crowded during fireworks time, and the terrace gardens are a nice spot in the mornings. I thought the rooms are great too. The Tower also feels a little more secure since you need to scan
I don't think it's necessarily a new thing, but a few times that I have been dropped off at a resort, I've been asked for my dining or resort reservation info. Like I recall being asked for that info when I was dropped off at GF for afternoon tea. (This is before the new DS bus/boat rules.) Most of the time, I'm never
There's always some sort of seasonal incentives. For example, here are the current offerings. If you're an annual passholder, I believe the current discount is $1,000 off. You could also consider Magical Beginnings where you exchange your first year's worth of points for a rebate of $20 per point if you're willing to w
Thanks for sharing! It looks like it was a lot of fun.
That's good advice for the ADRs. If ADRs don't work out, I've found that walk-ups for lunch or an early dinner are pretty doable too via MDE. You just have to be close enough to the restaurant to join the waitlist, so it's a better option for an EPCOT day if you're close enough to International Gateway.
My family has been enjoying Biergarten lately. There's something for everyone at the buffet, and my son (3) enjoys the musicians and dancing around on the dance floor. I agree with @HerDotness about Whispering Canyon and Crystal Palace too. If you want something that's not all-you-care-to-eat, Beaches and Cream can be
I hope to go again this year! I know it doesn't change much from year to year, but I still love it.
I'm excited for the quick service! Even if it's just basic chicken strips and fries, burgers, and the like, it would be much appreciated in that area. I'm glad the replacement for Jelly Rolls has some family-friendly entertainment during the day too. I wonder if the trivia and games will be reminiscent of what we see o
Now we know what 2 of those spaces will be, Hurly-Burly Lounge and the Basin: https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/boardwalk/new-experiences-coming-to-disneys-boardwalk-2026/
That's really interesting to know that the plans went back much further than Reflections!
I know it's somewhat arbitrary, but I guess in my head it's any contract under 100 points.
As a local, I understand and can deal with this just fine as long as it doesn't eventually become you can't take any Disney transportation (beyond DS) without a reservation. I love to resort hop!
The latest letter is out. This looks pretty awesome! https://dvcfan.com/dvc-resorts/lakeshore-lodge/the-wetlands-disney-lakeshore-lodge-lazy-river-pools-play-areas/?fbclid=IwY2xjawSfoahleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFPNmg1Umw5ZExSS210Q0RQc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHkFmY1ytf7CUIUo9U3IJsEjw3NbgW07nEfKkC3nsaGZ0xqwkdR
You're welcome! If you go, it's worth checking for discounted tickets rather than buying directly through Legoland. I got mine from Tickets At Work through my employer and got it for about $80 instead of $94, and it worked nicely. They just scanned my emailed QR code at the turnstiles, and I was good to go.
While there weren't any responses here, in case it's helpful to anyone else, I wanted to share a few takeaways from our first Legoland visit: Legoland truly does have plenty of attractions for little ones (even without going to the Peppa Pig Theme Park). My son was most interested in Jr. Driving School, the Grand Carou
