Advice on using leftover points?

We have a small 75 point contract at OKW that we bought last year. We had 7 leftover points that we banked for this year, but we are taking 2026 off to save our 2026/2027 points for a 9 night trip for our 10 year anniversary (married in Epcot so tons of family are coming to celebrate). Long story short, we are going October 2027, but our leftover 7 points can’t be carried out that far, as we need to bank our 2026 by September 30th.

We’re definitely willing to go for 2 nights before those points expire, but there’s nothing obviously we can do for 2 nights with 7 points. We really don’t want to use our 2026 points because we need those for 2027.

What’s our best way to use them? Is there a way to stretch them to November when we can book? Or how does paying per point work? We’ve only used our points for 1 trip so we don’t know how a lot of things work yet!

You can buy up to 24 one time use points from Disney. In September you can get a studio at OKW mid-week for 9 dollars a night so 18 total for your two night stay. You’d use your 7 points and purchase 11 one time use points and you’ll be good to go.

Onetime Use Points. You can also buy additional points from members using a "transfer" process. There are limits to transfers - 1 per year. There are some sites (not sure if this is one) that will help coordinate transfers between members.
