My Aunt owns DVC and heard I was interested so she sent me her referral, I was surprised to learn there is a referral program as I have been researching DVC for about 2 months now and have not seen anyone mention it. I would have thought these blogs (and reddit) would at least have some people mentioning it. Any reason why not? Can anyone confirm the current incentive and does it change often?

I can confirm that there may be one. Six or seven years ago, a coworker of hubby’s was looking into buying into Riviera. He told her to feel free to mention us as Members.
We got a $150 gift card for Disney Dining.
So, yes, incentives may be given, perhaps varying by how many direct points the buyer ultimately purchases. This woman bought around 350 RIV points as I recall.

Some of our table mates on a cruise with us last year joined DVC while on the boat and they told the DVC reps that my wife and I talked them into it so we got a $150 Disney Dining gift card emailed to us a few weeks later.
SupporterI dont have any info on whats currently being offered. but I, like some of the posters above, got a dining gift card when my daughter and son & law joined. I think it was 2021, and I thought the gift card was $200 but it might have been $150
