Hello World!

Hi, all! My name is Kenny from Wheeling, WV and Disney has been a part of my life since 1996! Since that time I learned my parents saved for two years to provide that trip to Caribbean Beach for my sister and I. I was six years old at the time and since then we have returned at least once a year since but usually two or three times. I remember watching the Disney promo VHS tapes countless times or playing with the classic Disney World Explorer CD-ROM on our family PC dreaming about our next trip. You can still find an early image of my sister and I together at the now nearly forgotten Leave a Legacy outside of Epcot.

Over the years, although we enjoy all of standard offerings of the Parks and Resorts, we have looked for more inventive ways to experience Disney. We have enjoyed dessert parties, fireworks cruises, VIP tours, visited Disneyland and the beautiful Aulani. We also just returned from our first sailing on the Disney Wish.

I proposed to my now wife on a WISHES fireworks cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon. We got married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion soon after. We love sharing our love for Disney with others and meeting new people along the way. Our 6 year old son just crossed the 48" height requirement to ride TRON and looks forward to his first ride on it in May! I'm very happy to be here as a part of the DVC Fan Forums and look forward to hearing all of your experiences and memories. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have along the way!

For now, we are not yet DVC members. We have had nothing but excellent experiences renting from The DVC Rental Store and also from David's Vacation Rentals. We've enjoyed the flexibility of being able to book when we want and how often we want through these services. We continue to be on the fence about buying DVC points of our own but perhaps this group will push us over the edge!
