Our resurgence to world of Disney began in Nov 2024 after about a 15 year drought. Not that we didn't WANT to go to Disney but just were either overseas or maybe it was too expensive.

But, just almost randomly...I came across a video about Christmas parties at WDW and started seeing about planning our trip. With five kids, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, turtles...it's always so difficult to get away, find someone to watch pets, and/or find a place that allows dogs.

We had a great Airbnb that allowed dogs, had a pool, pretty close, etc. And we had an AWESOME time at Jollywood Nights and MVMCP. We also spent most of our days either at Universal and Disney Parks...it was a tough week, very tiring but the catalyst of where we are now.

We started watching DVC Fan after that trip, and began our deep dive into the world of DVC...bought two contracts, started attending events, bought our APs, did another trip Thanksgiving 2025. We've been truly blessed and I wish I would have figured this out sooner before some of my kids became adults but you live you learn.

Festival of the Arts
Flower and Garden
Food and Wine
Stayed at AKL, CCV, SSR, BC, and OKW
Spent our anniversary at Disney

There are probably others I've missed but it has been so great, we loved every moment (we didn't even let crowds get us down). Glad to be here and have had a great time watching and interacting with the DVC Fan community.
