Princess Half 2027

I did 2 Princess half marathons when I was much younger and in much better shape:) my daughter & son in law have done the Wine & Dine 5k the past two years, my goal is to be able to do the Princess 5k in 2027 🤞

Oh fun! My mom and I have started doing an annual 5k together. She said she wants to go every year until she cant.

DH just said he'll run the half with me so I'll be trying for two now.

That reminds me I need to book my DVC room for Springtime Surprise.

I don't think I'll be running the Princess Half for next year, but I hope you get in! I really enjoyed doing it a couple of years ago. The cooler weather is a big plus!

Interesting-runDisney announced that registration is being delayed, it will not happen today, they said they will update again at 8PM EST ( I got this info from WDW Magic)

Yeah that was a first for me. (But apparently not for RunDisney.) I'm interested in when the next time will be. It sounds like last time they did this they rescheduled for another Tuesday (I think 2 weeks later?)

They just announced registration wont hapoen this week at all 😮its ok with me, gives me more time to decide if I’m going to do it or not:)

Seems to be more than just runDisney having tehnical difficulties, could be a company wide issue. MDE seems to be down at least for online check in which is what I was trying to do. First I couldnt log in at all. then I was able to log in but getting an error that my plans cant be loaded so I cant check in. Not sure if this is issue and the runDisney issue are part of an bigger problem

Nope! I can log in but thats it, cant check in, but i jut had a thought, I have a 2 night stay at AKLV next week, maybe I cant check in for next months say until after next weeks stay is complete? Still doesnt explain when they have my husband on the reservation twice and me not all , lol

I wonder if you can't check in since you aren't on the reservation? I'd probably chat with Disney to be sure it's all fixed.

That makes sense except I should be on the reservation:) I do everything, he doesn’t even have access to make a reservation, it’s frustrating but I’ll have them fix it

Anybody having luck today with the races? Yesterday I told my wife that it would be fun to do another Run Disney event, and she told me that the princess registration opened up today, so we thought we might do the 5k and got in the que about 9:30. Its just after 11 and its still showing "more than an hour" wait with the 10k and Challenge having sold out.

I actually decided against it :( My plantar faciatis ( I wish this had spell check lol) isnt going away as fast as I'd have hoped, so i dont want to spend the money on it. Good luck getting in!

I tried but didn't get in. I've already cancelled my DVC reservation. I've got a ton of points again! LOL!

Silver lining! I'm not sure what is worse: trying to register for a runDisney race or a Moonlight Magic event lol.

it shouldn't be this tough to get in to either, IMHO, but they dont make it easy

We tried with 2 different computers and neither one got in, unless we wanted to do some yoga. :( We will save the points for another fall trip.

I got in for the half, wanted to challenge. I was hoping a lot of people would drop reservations for copper creek, however that doesn't seem to be the case as I still have 2 nights waitlisted.
