How to best navigate “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween”

Hello! My wife, my five year old daughter and I will be doing MNSSH for the first time. I was wondering if anyone has tips as to when to line up for parades, spots to go, things to see, or tips for maximizing enjoyment. We will be there the last week of August. Thanks everyone!
