New Years Eve Recommendations Please :)

Hi all,
My family and I are traveling to WDW from 12/26-1/2, staying at BLT. There will be seven of us- Myself and my husband, our grown kids and their significant others, and our 2 yr old granddaughter. We have a two bedroom villa. We know it will be crazy busy but my daughter is an elementary school teacher and we have to work around her schedule.
I’m excited for the short walk to MK especially with a 2 yr old!
My question is: what is everyone’s opinion about NYE and the best place to spend it. We’ve been to WDW a lot but never for this time frame. We know it will be a madhouse and we’re ready for it! What do you all think?

I've done Epcot for NYE's a few times. It is a madhouse but because it is go big the crowds are more spread-out. If the little one can't make the midnight fireworks then they have an earlier show (6ish?).
I would go Magic Kingdom on the 30th. They will do their fireworks display the night before too. I think this past year they also did it on 29th.

We go to MK on the 30th since they do the NYE fireworks that night, and EPCOT on the 31st for the NYE fireworks there. However, I personally would not go to EPCOT on the 31st if not staying at an EPCOT resort. Trying to get back to the hotel after the show is a nightmare. If at BLT for the entire trip, I would do MK on NYE.
