I enjoy both resorts very much. Each on their own have things going for them. SSR rooms are furnished nicely and the proximity to Disney Springs can't be beat. OKW does edge out SSR though. Melbourne Airport
I've never flown into Melbourne. I guess if you don't mind the drive it is ok. Melbourne is super convenient to Vero Beach. It is about 30 min south of it. If I was flying into Melbourne it'd be awfully hard to pass up a a few days there.
