I doubt $150k contract effects them that much. That is less than 0.075% of their annual revenue.

I tried to look at it from the perspective of Disney Springs stores. Its great to have the foot traffic there, but all those stores that lease the property aren't getting those customers sometimes because the garages are full of people going to the parks and or resorts. I know there isn't a perfect solution to this, bu
Yeah that is sad. We were hoping to go during the Christmas season to take in the festivities. Excited to see what they come up with instead.
So good perks for both options. Will keep that in mind.
Wrapping up our resale purchase this week and looking forward to our first stay at VGF. Any recommendations/opinions on the studios? We would like a deluxe studio for most stays because of the fridge, but it could be nice to have the two dedicated queen beds occasionally.
If we are staying longer than 2 days, and they clean between arrival and checkout I tip. If its a split stay and they are just cleaning after check out, I typically dont.
Thank you Mr Monster for not gobbling up my VGF contract today after looking at it for 20 days longingly.
Ah bummer. Id watch some of the vids on youtube then to just see if anyone has a tour with view/room number. Good luck!
One of the last split stays we did we took our bags ourselves to Bell Services at the next resort and dropped them off to guaranty that they were at least at the resort we were staying at next. It worked out because we were already headed there for breakfast and near our next park.
Check out TouringPlans for room views! I haven't personally stayed there, but the grounds and views are great all around.
That is awesome! I am waiting on ROFR currently for VGF.
My wife and I love Narcoossees and Jiko. Each trip we take has to include one or both. The service and food at both are spectacular.
Once you bank them into the next use year they can only be used in that use year. You could borrow your next use years points if you made a mistake.
I made an offer yesterday on a loaded/double points GF contract and it got accepted! Very surprised when I got the confirmation email. Lets see how long this process takes.
Having stayed in the Studio, it is quite small. Be prepared to want to move up to the 1BR sooner rather than later. Based on your specifics that would make sense to me. Fire away with an offer if you are ready to buy!
Good morning, spent the afternoon yesterday during naptime reviewing our plan. The MRS would rather purchase a Poly/GF resale contract first for the access to MK and O14 resorts. Get it paid for and then look at a resale RIV contract for future use. We still do not see a benefit for us to purchase direct based on this
Only reason to buy direct IMO would be a smaller POLY contract to have use at future resorts.
So the magical beginnings discount is them "selling" your points? I think I would rather have the points unless it makes that big of a price difference. I guess I never looked up Magical Beginnings to understand its terms.
ooooooo nice. I will keep that in mind when looking at direct points.
Assuming I am locked in on the above mention strategy of RIV Resale and Poly Direct. The order of operations would be to buy Resale first for Membership. Then buy Poly Direct to get the member discount. Is there a strategy to buying at a certain time of year in conjunction with the RIV contract use year? Like is there
