Like many others here, we bought when they were having the VGF fire sale around the time of opening up the resort studio building. We weren’t really looking at Grand Floridian because I knew point charts were high vs. other DVC resorts. But when all was done, I still can’t believe how low our price per point came down
Unfortunately we’ve had this exact experience. Started off the first couple stays in 1BRs, which is ideal for our family size. Point charts started to climb, and now we have to pick between staying as long as we’d normally like in a more cramped studio, staying in the less expensive months but still for a shorter time,
Some entrees - I’d say Trattoria. They have a pretty good selection, the pizza is solid, and I like their drink menu. Pizza (but not necessarily other entrees)- Via Napoli for me. Sorry if this is a one-or-the other inquiry 😂
I am biased and it may not be a popular take, but I think that amongst quick/counter service restaurants, The Gasparilla Grill is excellent. It never seems to be as busy as the offerings at the other monorail loop resorts, and even if I’m wrong, I would swear the quality is high by comparison to similarly situated opti
Big fan of the Nomad Lounge inside the parks. I’m always surprised how quiet it seems and how quiet Tiffins appears based on the quality. At the resorts, that’s a tougher question for me.
