What else would you like to see with Disneyland Forward?
I watched the Bricky video. The only thing that is known for sure is that they filed a permit to tear down Monsters in 2027.

You’d have to have a LOT of extra points to pull this off…. so I doubt it would happen enough to be worth the IT expense.
I had someone modify a reservation that would have gone to holding if canceled and it seemed to work. I personally have never tried it. Friend: Hey, could you use these points? My kid’s team has an unexpected event and we can’t make it and they will just go into holding. Me: Maybe, but have you tried modifying it? Frie
Here is one hack I have heard about (have not used myself)…. Book a studio at OKW or SSR as a dummy reservation for a couple weeks before your WDW trip to get advanced LL and dining options and then once those things are booked modify the dummy reservation to avoid holding…..
If you want to maximize your options, Direct VDH is the way to go. Of course, incentives start at 100 points on that property…. so I’d be darn sure you won’t ever want 100 points there.
It’s nice…. but I’d take a few nights of them being little again…. “We are always living in the good ol’ days”
We shall see. I still get a sense of peace and tranquility every time I step into the resort at the start of the trip, love the layout of the villa rooms, love how it’s pretty easy to book the 1 and 2bd during the home resort window, and love the original California Craftsman charm. We also enjoy going into DCA for dat
I think that’s why I like the “hybrid” member approach. You get all of the savings of resale and the ability to book at the O14 resorts + the discounts and a bucket of points that can be used at the new resorts.
That could be a lot of renting to be anywhere close to EPCOT post-Jan 2042. That may not be important in your specific situation…. but it will be here closer than we think…..
Grand Floridian and Boardwalk. Best of all worlds with that combo.
It’s not just the extra perks. It’s access to any current and future DVC resort that they build. This could be important post 2042. The food and merch discounts add up as well. I also think we need to be careful about the hype of any unfinished resort. DLL is going be a massive resort that’ll probably be easy to trade
Even though I am adding a smallish resale VGF, we are also likely to be reducing some of our Aulani. So…. I don’t see 2k in our future….. unless they make a DVC Yacht Club….
Disneyland Hotel direct points can be used at Grand Cal, but Grand Cal resale points cannot be used at a Disneyland Hotel.
Yup. But the fact that they went so bare bones the first time around has fundamentally shaken my trust…..
If someone is borderline between sizes then I would recommend a size up. Exactly opposite of Spirit Jerseys…..
I really want to see how much of the budget went to the room remodels and how much was slushed over to the outdoor refresh based on when the hotel side wanted to have that done. Can we at least get some new shower heads and toilet seat covers?
