We have done land/sea vacations a few times. It is our favorite! We cruise out of Port Canaveral and stay at WDW for 2-3 days before and 5-6 days after. I second a lot of the previous responses (ie: cooking spray, collapsible hamper, sunscreen, meds). Other things we keep that are super helpful are: non-stick frying pans (we stay in 1 bedrooms and the frying pans in the kitchen are so hard for me to cook in because everything sticks!), sports items (a basketball and pu

You can ask your direct guide to put you on a list for a small VGC contract. I was put on a list around a year or 2 ago and got called 3 months later when they got some points to sell. Where My Split Stay Folks At?
We love to do split stays with a couple days at either a MK or Epcot resort, then a 4-5 night DCL, and then 4-5 days at MK or Epcot resort (the opposite of the first stay). That is our very favorite. Gives us a lot of variety and feels like multiple vacations.

Villas at Grand Californian Owners Thread
We have a small VGC contract and stay there every couple years. We love it! The pool chairs are the best and I love getting lunch and drinks delivered directly to our pool seat. Oh and entering directly into Ca Adventure is super awesome. We are going there next month and I can’t wait!!

Hi! I’m Traci from Washington state. My hubby and I honeymooned at WDW in 2000 and have been hooked ever since. We have 2 adult daughters, a teenage son, and 2 grandbabies. We love DVC and DCL! Our favorite resorts are Boardwalk, Ft Wilderness, and Grand Cal. I look forward to participating in these forums!
