What is the top must have item for your owner's locker?
We travel down from OH to DW at least twice a year and although we are lucky my checked bags fly free, we are going to invest in an Owner's Locker on our next trip in June prevent shuttling items back and forth.
I've done some research and think I have most of the basics covered, but what are some must have items in your locker that aren't included below?
-Phone/Watch/Magicband+ Chargers
-Shelf stable condiments/seasoning
-Some better cookware
-Sunscreen
-Rain gear
-Cooling Towels/Fans
-OTC Medicines
-Band-Aids
-Bubble Wands (at least for a few more years)

Great question!
We often do short split stays, and we do not check luggage.
We have a couple of collapsable duffle bags. If we have groceries, the non-perishable ones go into one bag and sent with our owners locker and luggage with bell services. We hand deliver our cold items to bell services at our next resort.
We also have collapsable hanging closet storage. Some of the studios do not have much drawer storage with a twin murphy bed.
We order shaving supplies and ship them to the resort and resupply every few trips.
On our next trip, we are adding an AirTag for the owners locker. We have not had any issues, but I have read that their locker got misplaced on property.
Home Resorts:

Owner's Lockers are terrific. I always like to include a good stash of zip top bags. We use for leftovers or to keep a wet umbrella from soaking everything in the park bag. In addition to meds, I have shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc. I also like to keep some pump hand soap as I prefer that to bars of soap. I like larger beach towels at the pool so have a couple of those. A nightlight.
⛱️☀️ BCV
Liquor
flip flops for pool
pool bag & collapsible cooler
small Brita pitcher
we got rid of our shampoos etc. and just use the wall stuff now, but still have deodorants, hair brushes, toothpaste etc. in ours.
uv umbrellas
I have a mesh hamper for the second bedroom
detergent sheets
scissors
if you cook in the unit:
knives
tin foil
tongs
cooking spray
The small Brita pitcher is a must! Takes out the chlorine taste of FL water and we don’t have to buy bottled water. We also have plastic cups and plastic wine glasses for when we are just in a studio. Rain jackets/rain shoes, beach bag for pool, all of our H&B products, umbrellas, toothbrush holder and also pop up laundry baskets. I also keep tide pods, little bottle of dish soap, and then if we have leftover snacks or alcohol it can go back in the owners locker. Just like DVC points though… addonitis is real and now we have two 😜

Thanks all!, The Brita Pitcher and liquid hand soap are great ideas that I hadn’t considered!
I too think I’ll toss in an air tag for good measure.

We have 4 owners lockers and always stay in studios. We have a small electric fry pan that we use to make eggs for breakfast and the occasional dinner of Mac and cheese, grilled cheese etc. also, Keurig, over the door shoe bag to hold all bathroom/ medical/ toiletry essentials.
We keep room decor for Halloween and spring. We also have pictures of past trips to make the room more homey. We have a removable screen so we can leave the balcony door open at night for a breeze. Laundry hampers, all our shampoos and otc medications such as Tylenol, bandaids, etc.
And of course swimsuits, park backpacks, extra room hooks, a dish rack, an extra fleece blanket, ponchos and rain jackets. Lots more too!
We stay at SSR usually for 2 weeks and we really do make a studio live like a one bedroom, minus the washer/dryer of course!

Off the top of my head, these are the top must haves in our owners locker:
Kitchen knives and cutting mats
Pizza pan and pizza cutter
Waffle maker
Kettle and flash-chill ice tea maker
Collapsible hamper
Liquid hand soap

I second a lot of the previous responses (ie: cooking spray, collapsible hamper, sunscreen, meds). Other things we keep that are super helpful are: non-stick frying pans (we stay in 1 bedrooms and the frying pans in the kitchen are so hard for me to cook in because everything sticks!), sports items (a basketball and pump, football, fishing pole, etc), pool toys, cruise items (we fly in and usually stay at WDW before and after a cruise, so we keep our Disney cruise specific items in our Owner Locker), and laundry supplies.

We just bought a standard one made for screen doors ( got our first few at Walmart, last one from Amazon) and they are standard sizes. Ours came with a tension bar to hold it up. Our kids got one that uses Velcro tabs, just be sure to peel them off when you leave. We love it so much.

I too love the screen idea! Also have you ever had any issues with the electric cook top? I was considering bringing a small old air fryer, but the "no small appliance" policy had me reconsidering.

Do you leave your locker at bell services, or do they deliver/pick up twice? I've seen conflicting reports different places if bell services will hold the locker while you are on the cruise. Still wouldn't warrant us upgrading to the deluxe plan, just interested :)

We have Owner Locker pick it up on the day we leave for the cruise and drop it back off the day we get back, but….
Funny story: 2 trips ago, we stayed at BRV in prep for going on the Fantasy. Our transportation to the cruise was the Disney bus. Early the morning of the cruise, Bell Services came to our room to pick up our luggage for the Disney bus. We asked if they could take our luggage to the bus and our owner locker to bell services to be picked up. They said yes, not a problem. Fast forward to about an hour after we board the cruise. We get a call from Owner Locker saying they could not find our locker. They had bell services check everywhere multiple times. Then a couple hours later, we open our cruise room door and there is was lol. Our owner locker came on the cruise with us. We stored it under the desk area and it was bulky but not too bad. It was actually kinda convenient, but I had a prohibited item in there (surge protector) so that worried me, but they never said anything. When the cruise was over, they loaded the locker back on the bus and it came with us to our post cruise stay at BWV 😄
We don’t pay for the upgraded owner locker plan. We pay for the $12.50 a month plan (1 trip a year I think??) and just pay the extra charge each additional time we need it.

Never had an issue. It is a small electric fry pan, about 9 inches square, so not a hot plate thing. We use it for eggs, grilled cheese, Mac and cheese and hot dogs. We have even had salmon patties in it, and hamburger helper too. It sits out and no one has said anything. We have even had Disney staff in our room dropping off surprise things and no comment. A few years ago my husband retired and we had one of the door decorating companies decorate our room door to celebrate. The SSR general manager noticed and brought a gift by and nothing was said even as it sat out. We unplug it when not in use.
OK - I know I might be asking the wrong audience :)
I want an owners locker, but I don't know if we need an owners locker.
We have three trips scheduled in the next 15months (studio; 2BD; studio)
Then, we're 2 years away from WDW (for Aulani and Hilton Head).
We have ALWAYS been carry-on only folks. Honestly, we fly budget airlines and we've even done 8days with only a 'personal item' each (I know, my kids think I'm a monster) - and this was before DVC!
I'm trying to justify the yearly cost knowing we'll be away 2 years. I also noticed there's a cancelation fee, so I don't want to cancel for the 2 years we're away.
Thoughts?

Getting an Owners Locker was the best thing. We go down multiple times a year, so we got the high plan with unlimited deliveries. This year however due to circumstances beyond our control we haven't been since last May and we wont be back till late 2027. We called them up and switched to the low plan for the next year to save us some cash. The service is excellent and they are great people. So you do not need to cancel it just get the low plan for two years is my thoughts.

Besides all the other stuff. We keep a blanket in ours. Sometimes those rooms are cold!
I was hoping this thread would start to see what others keep in theirs 😎
I have a lot of the things listed, and as mainly a studios user, we have some plastic/melamine plates and bowls along with cups and wine glasses as well as real silverware.
I also got an inexpensive cutting board from Amazon that has some items ..knife, bottle opener that stores inside it, the top doubles as a serving tray for fruits or cheese and crackers. If you look under camping essentials you can get good ideas. The over the door shoe rack keeps everything organized in a smaller space.
I replied earlier but we have 4 lockers so I forgot some things. We also keep a sound machine, a Yankee Candle scenter, small sets of dishes and wine glasses. Pool stuff..pool bag, sandals, neck pillows for the pool chairs (;they are wonderful!). We also have a cool clock for the room that projects the time onto the ceiling…very handy. My husband also made me a neat jewelry stand to hang my necklaces on..it breaks into a few small pieces. We really do keep a lot!
Wow 4 lockers!!! I tend to go often and get nailed with the extra delivery fee-4 times ouch. I agree with so many of what people have, but let me add a collapsible luggage rack roller for when you want to check out and get moving and don't want to wait for bell services. I can roll the locker to bell services and hand it off for pickup. I also found when cash staying at a moderate/value resort picking it up and returning it directly work, but that rolling luggage rack is key to the long walk!!
Always planning the next visit-now two of my kids moved to Fla...so guess what???
Planning/training for my first runDisney in Oct.....yikes!
Could not justify the cost. When we drove, packed the house. Fly? We went from checking two bags to one and still managed to take with us what we needed. Now solo - so need much less. Twice I managed with a carry-on and backpack. Last trip, checked luggage and backpack. Checking a luggage now depends on the length of stay and if going solo or with family.
For me, bath toys for my daughter (instead of having to buy new ones each time we go)
rain jackets & umbrellas (don't want to have to pack every time just in case)
sun tan lotion & body lotion
kid shampoo, brush, hair ties, ears
tylenol, etc (kid's tylenol as well)
pool shoes & bathing suits
extra pair of running shoes for me
scissors/nail clippers/sharpie
portable chargers and multiport chargers for the room including magic band charger
straws
laundry detergent
It's a packed box but want to add some baggies (I forgot this past time)
Now that at least of the hotels are transitioning to liquid hand soap (The Poly already has it) thats one leas thing to pack. Heres my current list
Anker extension cube and some USB-C adapters in mine too.
smal RTiC collapsible can cooler in there for any beers at the pool
Yeti stackable cups
Disney clothes
Brooks runDisney shoes and slides
Leftover beer
Peanut butter
Ponchos
Electric hand pump for the pool balls
Magicband chargers
Wet wipes
Laundry pods
Bathing suits
I am thinking of adding some grill tools too. I don’t know if Disney just cleans the heck out of their grills or if they’re just never used but both the grills at the Polynesian and at VGF look brand new. And I love grilling. Im going to try that when we go again.
This is what I have in my locker:
Extra necessary clothes just in case we decide to extend our stay (never used them lol)
Popcorn buckets
Reusable Water bottles
Yeti mugs
Mickey ears, hats, magicbands
Speakers
Sunglasses, sunscreen
Medication
Wipes
Zip lock bags
Backpack
Wine opener, wine pump
Beachbag, flip lops,
A journal to write down everything we did on that trip

My colapsible cooler to pack beer and ice in and carry to the pool. Looks like a pool bag, but it's not. Actually, I keep 2 in there. One is bigger for when we have large groups. A Must Have! LOL.

My husband and I just fly down with a backpack each when we come down and we have 3-4 week long stays a year minumum. Our Owners Locker is packed with our Disney clothes that we only wear at Disney, our sandals, a bag of toiletries (we Amazoned a bunch of full sized items to the resort the first time we got the locker, such as tooth paste, deoderant, sun screen, face wash, shower poofs). We also have our park bags/slings and popcorn bucket in there. Umbrellas and ponchos. I also have tons of laundry sheets and dryer sheets and ziplock baggies to take home cookies :)
