What are the current rules with Parking at a resort for dining? Do you need to have a reservation or is going to someplace like Geyer Point which doesnβt take reservations enough?
I am flying in this Friday, my family is picking me up from the airport and we wanted to go to Geyer Point for dinner. Would they let us park there? Or do we have to go to TTC? We would probably be getting there around 3:00 or 7:30.

The rules say, if you do not have a room or dining reservation you cannot park. This rule is very fickle depending on the resort and the individual security guard at the gate. To be on the safe side, you can park at the TTC, take the express monorail to the MK and take a boat to Wilderness Lodge. It is actually closer to Geyser Point than the walk from the parking lot. Some resorts even with a dining reservation (GF) you end up in an overflow lot across the street.
As always YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary)

Thats what we did last month. We are local , have family back home in MA that are also DVC Members and we went to meet them at Territory Lounge for drinks before we went to MK. The rules dont seem to be consistent from what I've heard from various people.

I have driven to the WL to eat at Geyser Point while staying at other resorts more times than I care to count and the guards at the gate have never given me any grief about parking there.
WRT the parking rules, those are generally there for resorts like the Contemporary or the Beach Club, places people will want to park at for easy park access. Nobody is going to the Wilderness Lodge to park so you should be okay, just be honest with the guard.
Disclaimer - I cannot guarantee the person manning the guard shack when you show up will let you park there. I can only tell you that I have never had any problem at that particular resort.
The rules are so inconsistent, i was jumped on by people on FB beciase i wanted to know if I could walk to SSR from Springs, youβd have thought I committed a crime π€£ there are that many people trying to sneak in SSR that I cant use my feet to get there to have a drink at the new lounge?? Lol
