Grocery Options near Disneyland Resort

I'm taking my mom to DLR for her 75th birthday, and her first ever visit! We've got a 1BR at VGC but will likely arrive a day early and stay at one of the Best Westerns across from the esplanade just to settle in. I was hoping to grab some small grocery items for our 1BR, but we won't have a vehicle. I see a few places are relatively close, so we could certainly Uber (seems wild for a possibly walkable distance, but I'm not the 75 year old)...any recommendations in favor of or where to avoid for snack/breakfast items nearby?

IMHO, the best breakfast in the WHOLE Disneyland Resort is at Tiendita in Downtown Disney. It's the quick-service option of the trio of Mexican establishments in the center (the other 2 being Paseo & Centrico). Their breakfast items are delicious and are a BARGAIN considering you're in the Disney bubble. You don't need a ticket to access Downtown Disney and the DVC discount is 15% there. (Pay at the register to get the discount applied.)

In terms of snacks, etc. an uber eats or walrmart grocery delivery might be a good option for you.

When we stayed at VGC in December, we just ordered groceries (snack, a case of water bottles, fruit cups, etc.) from Walmart through Instacart. We didn't get the best shopper and he was late though. So next time, we just plan to put in an earlier time in the day and have the items left with Bell Service.

Other nearby stores you could pick would be Target or one of the local grocery stores, like Von's.
