I think it's actually pretty close in count, attraction-wise. But I could be remembering wrong. Though obviously WDW has more resorts/restaurants.
January/February are my favorite months for Florida. Mainly the only months I'll go to WDW. But they are good in California too (can be rainy sometimes though.) Honestly, the only 'bad weather' time for Disneyland is Fall because it always seems to be a million degrees out.
In that case, I'd probably try to visit once...staying on the hotel side or renting points to make sure you like it. Personally, I LOVE Disneyland and WDW....with DLR being a bit higher up for me. But I've known of a lot of people who are big WDW fans but then just feel "meh" about Disneyland. (Personally, I don't unde
Disneyland for me! It's easily my favorite park, overall. Plus I own at both DVC resorts there.
How old is the toddler? What part of Nebraska? We're in the Omaha area. We waited until our son was 8 years old for his first multi-day road trip (NE to CA.) It was supposed to be when he was 6 but covid hit and we delayed it. But he probably would have been fine when he was much younger. We were just paranoid about it
Have you been to Disneyland much? Is it a trip you plan to take often?
Starting travel young is definitely a good idea. I think it's why our son has done so well flying and on road trips.
Just eastern SD in a small-ish town. But western SD is great and we actually like to go there for vacation every few years. That's where we took a road trip to last summer.
We only have 1 real vacation planned for 2026. A road trip from Nebraska to California. We don't really plan to do much on the drive though. We'll be spending 6 nights at VGC. Our first time in a 1-bedroom villa there! The whole trip is 12 days long. Our 20th wedding anniversary falls on a date in the middle of the tri
You arrive roughly a week after we leave. Which room type will you be in...2 bedroom?
44 days until VGC 277 days until BRV 417 days until VDH (For the CA trips, we are driving so we don't actually arrive until a couple days later, but I do my countdowns using the date we leave home.)
No. We stayed on the hotel side of the Grand Californian, which then made us want to purchase resale at the villas. So we never actually saw the villas in person. But we did stay at the resort. We stayed at BRV on our VGC points before purchasing there. But we pretty much knew before staying that we'd want to buy there
We purchased 160 points at VDH last incentive round (our very first direct purchase!) I'm afraid to do the math to see if we would have been better off buying now instead. We have no plans to buy more.
Just tried changing the color again. Maybe it doesn't allow for 4 different colors? Here's a screenshot showing I saved it.
I want to know where the heck we'll park our car when staying at the Grand Californian once all of this stuff is built.
