Hopefully this thread catches on! I minimize my time online outside of work, especially on vacation, and I can't keep track of the various other sites used for trying to advertise leave-behinds. At least this could be a centralized hub I could remember.
Great idea to have this thread!
Great idea ❤️
We almost always have extras that we leave behind and will utilize this space to let others know. Thanks for getting it rolling.
Love this idea! Can’t wait until we are HOME and to share our leftovers, which we always have!😀
Hi! I'm going to be at Riviera May 4-5th and planning to do an Epcot day on the 5th. If anyone will be along the skyliner with extras, feel free to reach out! Not a long trip but we are planning to stay minimal.
I'm sure we'll have a few things here in a few weeks....
Love this! I snag leftovers at Vero all the time and love that people leave things behind to share. Typically the laundry room seems to be a good place.

Yes, guests leave their unopened leftovers in the laundry room. We have picked up and dropped off some items.
will check back here next trip! we were there in April at BLT and had leftover stuff wish I remembered to look on these forums! next time!!! OCT at BRV
I’m the naysayer on this idea.
Please don’t leave things you didn’t use in the laundry room or other common access areas. These community spaces must be cleaned regularly. You’re leaving unanticipated obstacles a housekeeper or maintenance must work around, making their jobs more difficult.
Plus, laundry rooms can have machines leak. I once went into the VGF laundry room to find nearly the entire floor awash from a plumbing failure. Any boxed foods or other supplies left there would have only added to the mess.
I suggest asking at the front desk if there is somewhere these things might be left that won’t get in the way of CMs doing their jobs effectively.

There has never been more than one to three items on the table in the laundry room. I don't think there is much one can leave on the floor for someone else to use.
I once did give a 2 lb box of cookies (from a bakery) to housekeeping to share in their break room (if they have one/was a suggestion/they can do with it whatever they want). I actually brought two as a thank you for two people I know. I kept missing the second one. But, the laundry room is a much better place than outside of a room. Of course, never leave alcohol. Definitely no mess that I have seen.
We usually give the unopened items to housekeeping. We ask if they would like the items and majority of the time they take it! I would rather do that than throw out. I like this idea too.
Our home sweet homes!
