How to experience Disney with motion sickness
Hey all,
I am a big Disney fan with my family being DVC members for most of my life and my girlfriend hasn't been there in years so I wanted to plan a trip with her sometime, but my worry is she is prone to motion sickness and I wanted to be respectful of that so I was wondering what are some activities that can be done both in the parks and out that are enjoyable for people who experience motion sickness?
Any suggestions are appreciated!
How serious is the motion sickness? Would she feel it on the slower omnimover type rides like People Mover, Spaceship Earth, etc.?
Have you ever looked into the Relief Band? I'm not sure if it helps, but I have heard good things.
Otherwise, you can always enjoy an EPCOT Festival, take in the shows at the parks, enjoy the pools and activities at your resort, shop Disney Springs. There are so many cool things to do people don't even know exist. Things like Sangria University at Coronado Springs, the Paint & Sip type events at various resorts, mini-golf, Behind the Scenes tours like Behind the Seeds at The Land Pavilion, Scavenger Hunts (EPCOT Festivals, Pirates one at MK, Duck Tails at EPCOT), Spa Services, see the parades, go see Cirque de Soleil at Disney Springs, Animal walking trails at AK. Hope this helps give you some ideas!

Thank you so much for all the great ideas! The motion stickiness is a bit tricky since years ago she went to Disney and had no issues on Space mountain, but gets horribly motion sick on planes and cruises. I will definitely look more into the relief band, but I think going to Epcot for a festival would be a great idea! Thank you again!
I go to Disney every year. I take over the counter Meclizine. If I know we are going to do a lot of big rides, I start the day before our 1st park day and then take it every day. Works pretty well for me, but even then, I need breaks between big rides. Agree with above, Epcot festivals are great. Do other shows and slower rides ect if motion sickness is bad.
