If I buy resale at Bay Lake Tower. What is a way that I can stay at Riviera? I think Iโ€™ve seen posts about renting points to stay there but I am not sure how that works.

You can rent points from sites like DVC rental but unless you have direct points, resale points from contracts at other resorts can't currently be used to stay at Riviera through DVC. Resale at Riviera can't be used at other resorts either. Basically DVC resale for Riviera operates like a single resort membership. Hope this helps!

Renting points, trading points (maybe someone with Riviera wants to trade for BLT), or cash stays through Disney.

Itโ€™s actually possible to have a cash stays thatโ€™s cheaper than the equivalent of using points if you figure ~$20 per point retail value for some resorts when there is a sale. We actually had a cash stay at the DVC Fort Wilderness Cabins for $300 a night for the summer during a sale before changing it to somewhere else. (Bought more DVC instead haha). Which is way cheaper than using any point in my opinion.

This will apply to any DVC property starting with Riviera and any future property (Cabins, VDH, Lakeshore Lodge, etc) that isnโ€™t added to an existing association that allows for that (like Poly).
