Pool use for guests
Hi all! We are doing our welcome home in early December at the Polynesian. We want our parents to go with, however, there are no rooms available and the cash option does not make sense. If we have them stay at a different resort, is it possible for them to buy or get a pool pass at Polynesian? We plan on doing one resort day and would prefer to swim and watch the fireworks from the beach with them, if possible.

you can't get a pool pass for them, but if you have space in your room, they would probably be eligible in that way... even if they weren't physically in the room with you to sleep...

We haven’t been to a lot of pools but it seemed like the only pool they actually make you scan into for everyone in your group is at beach club. They actually give you a pool wrist band. The other pools we’ve been to we’ve just scanned one of our magic bands to open the gate and we were all in.
You can't buy a pool pass or day pass. I agree with adding one of them to your reservation. There shouldn't be an issue unless the pool is really crowded.

Yes, you can only add to your reservation which is limited by the room capacity. I have heard that they have been checking for room reservations sporadically, especially when the pools are busy.
