Grand Floridian to All-Star Music (LOL)

Okay, so I had a family suite at All-Star Music reserved for an entire week. Then, I noticed that there were TWO Extended Evening Hours (EEH) for that week...so, since I didn't have any points...
I bought one time use points and then borrowed a small amount from 2026 UY to reserve two nights at AKL Kidani/1-bedroom Savannah.
Just on a whim, I decided to put a waitlist for Deluxe Studio at Grand Floridian (needed 5 person and wanted to shoot for a room that had a split bathroom). The waitlist actually came through and was like half the points. My wife is very excited as it's the place she's wanted to stay for her entire life.
I am planning our full day there as just a resort day (and go out to eat a couple places). I think the biggest con is going from GF to a value resort but we'll deal with it. We are going for my oldest daughters HS graduation and she loves music so she actually was excited seeing that resort (we've never stayed at a Value Resort - before DVC we stayed at Airbnb and Shades of Green).
Anyway, any special things at the resort that you think we should check out? Is there a good place to see Fireworks like the Poly or should we just walk to the Poly?

Not sure of the best place to watch the fireworks from Grand Floridian. There are some fun things to see like the penguin fountain in the Villas Lobby (if you're staying in a Resort Studio instead of a Deluxe Studio, you wouldn't go to the Villas Lobby), the main Grand Floridian Lobby has a photo spot up on the 2nd floor where they usually have a glass slipper which is fun for pics of the kids, I'm sure others will have great tips too! :)

That’s an upgrade for sure.
For Grand Floridian, you can walk down to the boat dock area to see fireworks or near Narcossees where you can hear them piping the music. Some people just sit right outside Gasparillas in the area with tables and chairs and watch from there.

Seconding Amy that the area in front of Gaspy’s is excellent if you get there earlier than early. It’s a very popular site because you have a straight on view of the castle. Just stunning.
Lots of people suggest timing dinner at Narcoosees to include fireworks—the catch being that people pack the deck to the point that you’ll see nothing much even though you’ve a windowside table.
Don’t be tempted by the beach near the Deluxe Villas. There are fireworks guns in the lake, and those things shoot often, deafeningly. We once had a ground floor room, lake view, and those things were almost directly out from our bedroom windows. Interesting up to a point, but the thrill wore off quickly when we tried to get to sleep early after a long day.

Grand Floridian and Beach Club
GF to ASM will be a change but I have to say I really enjoy the All Stars. We usually stay there on our arrival nights and love the theming and find the cast members to be extra welcoming. I know this wasn’t your question, but just affirming that AS Music is a great resort. Happy planning!
