New availabity inside 4 months
Recently quite a bit of availability opened up in several room types at a resort that previously had no availibility left this summer, at about 4 months out. I understand sometimes construction can play a role, but that shouldn't be the case here as far as I am aware. Do you see availability being held until 4 months or so frequently?
SupporterAs a local I look for last minute availability a lot, sometimes just for the fun of it, as I am always out of points. lol and I feel like there is more last minute availability than I expected ( I've only been local a year and a half so maybe it always been this way? I have no idea) last year Christmas night was still available 4 nights before, which I thought was nuts! Good for me as I need to book Christmas 2026 still but am out of points unti Octboer LOL!

If you aren’t too picky (and ok with OKW/SSR/AKV) and/or dont mind split stays, you can generally find availability fairly last minute most of the time.
