How difficult is it to get CA in Feb?
I'm thinking of skipping my usual FL fall trip and going to CA the first weekend in Feb. I haven't been there in over 10 years and didn't own DVC at the time so I've never looked at it.
It's in conjunction with a convention so I could go the Wednesday before and check out Friday or the Monday after and check out Wednesday.
How likely or difficult is it to get a studio at 7 months?

It's possible at the Disneyland Hotel - note you will need direct points and have a bill for taxes.

Doable at 7 months at VDH if you own direct points. Harder at VGC.
I know that it’s usually very difficult but we were lucky this past February. We were able to get a studio at Grand Cal for 4 nights Feb 22-26 at the 7 month mark.

SupporterSupporterVGC has been our home since 2010. Ive been able to get wait list villas at 4 mos for summer weekend (once). Usually have to use for Disney Hotel, Pixar Palace or now VDH if I’m short notice ($95 transfer fee for hotel rooms) Wait list has worked as well.
