Problems Booking at 7 months

Keep trying, it could be people walking and something may open up. Although without knowing what resort and room category you're trying to book you may be out of luck. I am assuming it's something highly desirable?

I’ve heard people run bots to get the most desirable rooms. With that knowledge, I’m never planning to get an AKV value or club reservation lol.

That time of year a lot of schools have vacation during that coming week (my wife is a teacher and this is one of our vacation times). You definitely need to have the home resort advantage for anything that is not AKL/SSR/OKW.

That is unfortunate you weren't able to snag it.

I would suggest grabbing a reservation SSR or OKW if you are okay "settling" for those and then you can check back each day to see if availability opens up elsewhere. I have resort hopped to make it work. We recently had SSR book for 4th of july but eventually started at AKL then when to Poly based on some people canceling.

if you are on a longer trip, that makes it harder.

It does look that is a busy weekend, unsure what is going on there.

Poly will be tough at seven months. One thing I recommend if you have the points to burn - tryin 1BRs, they are often the easiest to get.

It's President's Day weekend which is usually pretty busy.

Put in a waitlist and keep stalking the site. I wouldnt be surprised if something opens up.

We are planning on booking a split stay in October 2027 (3 days at 2 resorts). Is it easier to modify a Saturday-Tuesday or Tuesday-Friday reservation? Both would be originally booked at our home resort at 11 months.

Probably Saturday-Tuesday since Saturday is a higher point cost. But it also seems Sundays go fast too.

Depending on flights, I’d book Sunday-Friday first for the cheaper point cost.

Here is an update, I went on the following day and was chasing Feb 14-20th at the Poly. I was on, my wife and I both refreshed seconds before 8 AM. Everything we wanted was once again gone immediately. This leads me to belive that people are actually using bots to game the system. However, the good news is this time we just lingered in the room refreshing the page over and over and during the next 15 minutes. During this time we were able to snag a grand flo booking, later i refreshed again and we were able to modify to a newly available Poly Tower Deluxe Studio with a Theme Park View.

My advice would be to stay on and refresh because you cant beat the bots, but things will pop up.

Yes, stalking the site works too. I don't even necessarily want to stay at Beach Club, but at this point its more about the chase lol.

This has been an issue for a long time (as in before bots were a thing I think). My theory is that right before 0800 hours is when the wait list function scrapes the wait lists.

Disney really aught to do something about this. It is unethical.

I feel the same way, I have a goal to stay at all the resorts, but Beach Club is low on my priority list.
