A Welcome Home/Birthday Trip - January 2027

Good morning! I wanted to jump on here and post about our upcoming trip for January 2027.

My wife and I recently closed on our first DVC contract which had banked 2025 points to be used before March of 2027. We purchased 150 GF resale and could not be more excited to use these over the coming years.

We are staying 2 nights at Beach Club in a One Bedroom and 3 nights at Grand Floridian in a One Bedroom. Both are standard/resort views. We have not stayed at either of these properties, but have watched numerous videos on them.

Our travel party includes myself, my wife, our son who will be 16mo and my mother in law. Traveling with a grandma allows us to get to do some of the fun dinners and attractions we wouldn't be able to do with an infant. Highly recommend!

Traveling via CLT to MCO and this will be the first flight that we booked our son his own seat. Fingers crossed we can keep him occupied enough during the flights.

Our current plans are as follows:

Check in 1/22 at BCV around 1 and enjoy the resort/DS. There is an Epcot after hours event this night that we may try and get tickets for just the wife and I. We have never done an after hours event.

1/23 Animal Kingdom - Tusker House breakfast and Safari/Shows. Resort for naps and Park Hop for a bit.

1/24 Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace breakfast and all the little rides. Also swap resorts this day.

1/25 Pool Day at GF and relax. Maybe to DS and nice dinner.

1/26 Epcot for FARTS

1/27 Travel Home

We plan on making this trip pretty relaxed and trying/seeing things we haven't in the past.
