Two-Bedroom Club! (And More!)
Hey y’all! Where are my big families at?
We are a family of six, and our littlest turned three last year, so we’re officially part of the Two-Bedroom Club! We crammed into a Fort Wilderness cabin last summer (not really my vibe, but it’s good for when we need to save on points) and then stayed in a Saratoga Treehouse in February (cementing my status as a Hotel Girlie™️ but we were using my parents’ points, so no complaints lol). We have our first stay in the Island Tower coming up this summer, and I’m so excited!!!
Some of my other favorites have been Kidani (love the extra bathroom and the splash pad for the kids), Riviera (my fave!), and also the 2-story grand villa at Boardwalk!
Where do y’all like to stay when a studio or 1-bedroom won’t cut it anymore?

Looooove 2bd villas! Our family is 4, but we love traveling with our extended families and friends. Before we were DVC members, we would get 2 adjoining rooms at moderate or value resorts and left the doors open. We did a cash stay at SSR with a great deal and stayed in an 2 bd villa and I saw how the DVC side lives- and that’s when I really started to think about DVC. Whenever we come to Disney, it’s always with the grands, my brother in law, and sometimes friends join us. We became members last fall and FINALLY have our first DVC stay in 2 weeks at AK Kidani in one of those refurbished 2bd villas. Our kids can’t wait for the splash pad!!!

We will soon be staying primarily in two bedrooms. We just had twins to get to a family of 5. While one bedrooms could work, the extra space would be so nice! Taking the girls this summer for the first time at 18 months along with our 6 year old, it’ll be a new adventure for us!

We travel often with my parents, who are OG DVC members, but we usually end up staying in separate rooms these days. When I was a kid, we’d invite friends and relatives and get a grand villa, which was so much fun! I’m looking forward to doing that when the kids are a little older. 💗

We held out as long as possible, and even put all of us in a Polynesian studio when our littlest was still under 3 and it was TIGHT! Definitely grateful for the extra space, but sad that it means less trips. 😢
One more reason to buy more points I guess 🤣🤣

We are a family of four right now but our son is 22 and daughter is 16, so we bought two contracts with enough points to stay in a two bedroom at least one week a year during the summer months. We know that in the next several years our family could grow. We stayed in a two bedroom resort view at Riviera with an amazing fireworks view for our first DVC stay. What a way to get spoiled right off the bat! LOL

We’re still a longggggggg ways off from that, but I suspect we’ll do a combination of empty nest trips and big family trips (similar to how my parents use their points now).
