We are planning our first stay at the Polynesian Tower. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a map that shows what rooms are resort view or can anyone share their experience/thoughts/photos from staying in a room in this catagory? I am only seeing videos on you tube where people are complaining about concrete wall and roof top views. I'm wondering are they all like this or should I request a certain area? Any advice would be outstanding. Thank fellow Disney lovers!
Check out TouringPlans for room views! I haven't personally stayed there, but the grounds and views are great all around.
Thank you TGoody. I did try that sight. It unfortunately is not up to date and does not show anything for the Tower.

Ah bummer. Id watch some of the vids on youtube then to just see if anyone has a tour with view/room number. Good luck!
We've stayed in a Resort View Deluxe Studio in the new tower a couple of times and will be returning again in July. For the point savings, we've found the resort-view category to be more than adequate and very enjoyable.
From what I understand, most rooms on the front side of the building overlooking the porte cochère are classified as Resort View. I highly recommend requesting a higher floor, as it provides excellent views of the golf course across the road. Lower-floor rooms face the same direction, but the road and nearby buildings tend to be more noticeable.
On both of our stays, we requested a high-floor room at check-in and were accommodated each time, which made the view even better.

I dont have a pic of our room view, but the view of HEA from the terrace is unforgetabble.
