No I am just pointing out that I love the privacy of SSR and OKW. Even without the Gingerbread House, people will still go to the GF to dine, shop, and look around. Same for the Poly, the Contemporary, and the Crescent Lake Resorts. They are simply too easy to get to between walking access and the various transportatio
When I read about resorts being over crowded with people not staying at them it reminds me why I love SSR and OKW. Outside of a few golfers and maybe some people visiting the DVC offices at SSR, people do not visit those resorts just to look around. Just saying...

During our last stay at Boulder Ridge we ate at Whispering Canyon for the first time in a long time and we ordered off the menu instead of doing the family style thing and the food was excellent.
You are a SSR owner so stay at home and go to the Turf Club and the Turf Club Lounge. Both very underrated and never very crowded.
In a different situation I would be thrilled to add to this resort. It's the best of both worlds, a Deluxe Resort Villa Hotel with easy access to all of the activities and amenities offered by Fort Wilderness and as a bonus I'm assuming the walking path to the WL will reopen as well so easy access to that resort too. H

Good to know, going on a five night on the Dream in September and we do stops at both DCL islands and it will be our first visit to Lookout Point.
We own at RIV and SSR and recently inherited BRV and 2057 OKW so no. Definite maybe if we hadn’t bought RIV in 2022.
Some of our table mates on a cruise with us last year joined DVC while on the boat and they told the DVC reps that my wife and I talked them into it so we got a $150 Disney Dining gift card emailed to us a few weeks later.
I not only still use Magic Bands but I still use the very first Magic Band I got back in November 2013 (yes it still works).
I'm a huge fan of combining a Disney cruise with a trip to Vero Beach. This fall we are taking a five night on the Dream out of Fort Lauderdale followed by three nights at Vero Beach and then since our flight home is out of Orlando, one night in the Poly Tower before we head to the airport the next morning.
We've done the Alaska Cruise on the Wonder four times plus the Vancouver to Honolulu cruise so were fairly familiar with that ship and we love it. I want my cruise ship to be a place of relaxation, I don't need it to be a floating amusement park.

Welcome, it's a great resort. We had no intention of buying there but after a stay in 2021 we fell in love with the place and bought there in 2022.
Not sure about other resorts but Jambo and Kidani both have five bus stands - one for each park and one for DS so this would make sense.
