Hello! I believe the cancel to book early does work; however, there are a few problems with that strategy. My understandingis that you can only get 20 OTU points per UY and need to be used before the end of that UY.
Since they no longer do daily mousekeeping I don't feel the need to tip unless I have a toddler accident or need something taken care of.

💯 agree. Many overlook this. The problem now days is not just the increase in price per point but also how many points are now needed. At some point the math will no longer make sense even more so as the co tinue to dilute the experience and remove perks.

I'm beginning to think that Feb UY is rare for CCV. Given that the Feb use year points expire on 1/31 I think that it is not as popular for xmas travel which is one of the main reasons people get CCV.

Poly is wildly overrated! “Poly” comes from Greek meaning many and they did nail it because this place has many many many people who are not staying at the hotel. I suggest you bid somewhat lower of what you really are willing to pay. Bear in mind that the average is just that, the average. Many are sold at a lower price. It is worth noting most people in these type of forums usually pay less than the average. You never know if they will accept your offer unless you try. If not

My biggest concern with LSL is the point chart. Hopefully they keep it at a similar level to CCV and BRV.
