I got the survey as well. Longer than I thought jtbwound be. I basically said you’re too expensive and any discount coded as percentage or $$ is nill if the price per point is too high to start with. And I have doubts the point chart will be anything good.
Maybe if they added a Skyliner. Otherwise I’m good with my MK resorts where I can walk to the park.
Thats good to know about Guest Services dropping off the box if I’m not in the room. One less headache to worry about.
I did once and wasn't a fan. Cost issues aside I found it to be an inconvenience just to try and figure out which restaurants accepted it and then going through the menus of the restaurants to run some numbers. I had an adult beverage at every meal, including a very strong margarita at Chef Mickeys on our 2nd to last m
The SS was my first real non-neighborhood race I ever ran. last year. I did the 10k, and loved it. I've also done a 5k and half marathon at the Wine & Dine last year too. I did this year's SS 10k again, and I have to say that the 10k is my sweet spot. It's a good distance that takes you through Epcot and the Boardwalk,
We just got back from the Polynesian a few weeks ago. We were at Oasis (smaller pool) and the “hot tub” there is literally just that. A hot tub sans any real jacuzzi jets. It was like this back in October too. The hot tub at the main pool was good we were staying at Pago Pago so we spent most of our time there. So eith
I own at Poly and VGF. I bought at Poly because VGF was already sold out. Plus we love the Poly. We also need a studio that sleeps 5 which limits us somewhat. Not a fan of the 2042 expiration either. While my family isn’t fond of split stays, I love them. We did one last year at the Riv and VGF and this year we’re doin
Now that at least of the hotels are transitioning to liquid hand soap (The Poly already has it) thats one leas thing to pack. Heres my current list Anker extension cube and some USB-C adapters in mine too. smal RTiC collapsible can cooler in there for any beers at the pool Yeti stackable cups Disney clothes Brooks runD
I love split stays. My family wasn’t until they experienced the water park last year. I split my knee open the night before we left for Disney and because I had stitches I had to watch from the side. But the beer was good. I like them because it also allows us to experience different hotels and plan accordingly. We hav
Disneyland. We did Disneyland a few years ago when we decided to visit Southern California. My kids were the ones who pushed it; I thought it’d be a hard pass. They 15 and 13 at the time. They loved it. We stayed at the Disneyland hotel before VDL. I’m a Marriott guy and was leaning towards the JW but I really wanted t
VGF - we had an unremarkable dinner at the cafe. a year before we bought there. I didn’t remember anything about the hotel itself and bought during the fire sale. If there were no restrictions I would’ve bought at the Riv.
We also bought during the 🔥 sale too having never stayed there before. I’d only been there once for a dinner at the cafe two years earlier and barely remembered it. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Bought 150 but should’ve bought more. Our first stay was in BPK and while I wasn’t in love with the rooms I love
My unpopular opinion to add: Joffrey’s coffee is good. Can’t comment on their specialty drinks; I drink regular coffee and prefer it black. My kids, who drink specialty drinks disagree. My employer provides complimentary Starbucks coffee in our office and I have grown to love that FWIW. But I do love me some Joffrey’s
I’m split in this. When we go I buy at least one because I need it for my morning coffee. I’m always the first one up and the first thing I do is grab my kindle and my mug and head to the QS and grab a few clips. I hate K-cups and my family will kill me if I wake them up to make me coffee, as I have made that mistake b
I get a corporate discount with national through my employer which tops everything else out there. I love their emerald club too because I can skip the line and pick out whatever is available in their emerald club lot. I just returned from MCO yesterday and was surprised that there were so many pick up trucks available
I just renewed my wife’s and my AP this afternoon. We’re doing the Soringtime Surprise this weekend and have at least one more trip planned this year. Hands down worth it for us. My wife said that maybe she wound t renew hers and just buy single park tickets. My son said go ahead and let us know how you plan on spendin
for our anniversary I gifted my wife a bib to the Wine & Dine HF last October so we could run together. We had both started running together last year. We were already signed up for the 5k. And I thought she would like it. Yeah that gift was a dud. Flowers would’ve been acceptable. One early wake up time was enough. He
We stayed club level at the Poly on a family trip in June 2022. Talk about setting the bar high. It was amazing. Check in is one week away and can’t wait. Haven’t stayed in the tower yet, as we need a studio that sleeps 5 but with my daughter off to college in the fall my son keeps reminding us that we can get a smalle
Bought 150 direct at VGF and after our welcome home stay I knew we needed more. I went with 100 more direct for the Poly. We have 2 teens and will longer allow them to miss school so we’re on that schedule now. I’ve toyed with adding on another small resale 2042 contract. On the one hand I could use it for runDisney bu
