My district does allow me to attach my 3 personal days to holidays so we have done that a lot, usually in February in conjunction with Presidents weekend...sometimes attached to Christmas or Thanksgiving. Where My Split Stay Folks At?
For about 8 February's now we have been doing split stays of a different kind. We fly to Orlando, stay on property using DVC for 3-4 nights...then Uber over to somewhere on the Gulf coast like Bradenton Beach or Gulfport or Dunedin for 3 more nights...then fly home from Tampa. STRONGLY recommend giving it a try!
