Low available resale inventory
I am always scanning the DVC for Less site to see what is for sale (just an easy place to skim for my curiosity). I was shocked to see that the number of listings dropped down to 727 today. In the last year, the number of listings has dropped from over 1200. I am new to this and have only been following the resale market for about a year. Is this normal?

My guess is that people wanted to sell because of dues have done so, and now people are taking their last vacations before selling. You cant sell if you have a pending reservation.
I was wondering the same thing! What stops a person from putting there contract on multiple DVC Resale Companies? Never sold on resale, so as a seller are you required to sign a seller exclusive agreement with a Resale Company? Did DVC for Less do a little housekeeping?
I have been waiting for an Aulani February 500+ points for a little while to facilitate a winter break with little luck. Considering another resort like SSR and roll the dice with the 7 month window as inventory dwindles.

There are tons of Feb. UY Aulani contracts. Even if they aren't 500 points, I'm not sure you want to buy just one contract that's 500 points anyways. It's easier to offload the contract if the points are smaller, and you can also incrementally offload them instead of all or nothing. If you're worried about pricing, as with any purchases, listed price =/= sold price. Feel free to offer what you feel comfortable paying - don't feel afraid of an initial "no". There are other contracts in the sea. On the flip side, you may be surprised at a "yes." I got my non-subsidized Aulani contract that way - I put in an offer with the mindset that, if it's not subsidized that's a little below what I think it's value should be. After a little bit of negotiation, it ended up pretty close to what I was willing to pay.
You can also try a hybrid strategy of booking Fridays and Weekends with an Aulani contract and then booking the rest of the week at the 7 month time period. Fridays and weekends are popular with locals, so they are more likely to go early.
Thanks, i did just as you described last week. I am currently waiting for a ROFR on a 240 points. We have a specific birthday time we have been going for years Nov 10-24. 500 is the goal, and we have this year booked by using points from BLT and PVR.

Itβs back up again. Must have been a problem.
