Loaded/Stripped Contract and ROFR?
The good thing is that there's tons of contracts available. I wouldn't be too down on it. Check out dvcforless.com to see an aggregate of contract listings from different brokers.

Do you have spare points to book rooms? If not, it might be difficult to find 5 consecutive days. The problem is that if only one or two of the 5 days show up, you would be put in a position where you have to be roomless or wait for the other days to show up. If you wait, then those days could disappear. I would try br
I was able to put in a room request theough chat - didnt get the room. However during check in they did allow me to basically pick the room i wanted. It looked like they had touring plans up to show the room views.
FYI the Disney Character Warehouses do earn at the 3% rate for Disney locations.
Theres a person who does best rooms named Shannon Ford on Youtube. Take a look at touring plans, too for resort views. This is for Copper Creek: If you dont like ground floor, you should book a shower studio. All tub ones are on the ground floor with a notable exveption. Theres the almost 1 BR one on each floor. So if
I think your mind is already made up since you used the term "overpay". Overpay means lack of value. However, I would vote for getting the blue card when you can and being hybrid owners with all of the benefits. I generally subscribe to buy it nice or cry twice (or buy once cry once). That also means you shouldn't get
Pros of using a TA: You don't have to wait on the phone with DCL to book, change rooms, make payments, etc. Some, but not all give some OBC depending on how much you're spending. It's free. You support another small person/industry. Can usually still use all of the same traditional payment methods (cc/GC) Good ones can
Just a reminder that for those looking to get a Disney Plus credit, you have to activate it beforehand. You don't automatically get it. Also, check your offers page, you might have a Disney Plus offer, too.
Just a few that I can think of - I'm sure I'm missing a bunch. Note that when I mention DL I'm referring to DL and DCA as a collective whole. Rides/Lands at DL, but not at WDW: Cars Land - best land in the US Indiana Jones (same layout as Dino - ride to extinction, but themed so much better. Queue is also awesome) Pino
Interesting that you got your e-mail last week. We got ours on May 13 with indications that we had to finalize changes by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on May 18.
I use the Chase Sapphire Reserve to book flights - which automatically comes with travel insurance. Not sure it will cover DVC stays, but will cover other aspects of travel including travel delays. I also use them for car rentals as they provide primary insurance coverage (instead of secondary), so you don't need to sh
Was there two weeks ago, and it didn't affect inside or outside dining.
There are tons of Feb. UY Aulani contracts. Even if they aren't 500 points, I'm not sure you want to buy just one contract that's 500 points anyways. It's easier to offload the contract if the points are smaller, and you can also incrementally offload them instead of all or nothing. If you're worried about pricing, as
My guess is that people wanted to sell because of dues have done so, and now people are taking their last vacations before selling. You cant sell if you have a pending reservation.
I think most people should consider to be hybrid members. E.g., direct points and resale points. As for whether direct makes sense at all, are you going to complain about being a second class citizen each time they announce a special giveaway / experience/ discount for direct members only? Even if people talk about how
The reality is that the "ex" needs to grow up. If the "ex" equally doesn't want to deal with it for 30+ years, then those are really the only two options. If the "ex" doesn't want to deal with either option, then your friend could theoretically threaten to sell her share to someone else. Then the "ex" gets to deal with
Copper Creek studios are generally in higher demand since they have the Cabins. E.g., more points chasing studios.
